McCulloch and Ag-Gear 1980 I didn't bother to much years ago to keep to many photo's of days gone-by but i found this one gathering dust under a pile of books. It's shows Jamie Alison and Bob Cornwell shaking hands after Jamie won the Inaugral Fence Post Splitting contest. The contest was held at Annabar House a property owned by the Bird family, near Maitland in the Hunter Valley of NSW. A two day Rural Display with the fence post ripping contest sponsered by McCulloch of Australia. The event seen a few different brands competing McCulloch 550, Stihl 090 and 075 and Homelite 750  with Jamie using a Stihl 090 to win the event.

I have worked out the date of this pic as 1979-80 as thats when the PM1000 was released and i demo'ed the PM1000 at these field days and sold quite a few of them immediately after
