Australian Chainsaws ...... ?

Since my involvement with chainsaws started in the late 70's i missed a lot of the early chainsaws that i cannot say for sure were made in Australia or not but to date i have found very little documented evidence on these saws.

McCulloch and their trade-in deals ie; certainly dragged a lot of the old saws to light and in my time selling and servicing saws i have seen some odd-ball saws. The reason my memory has failed me is that in many cases the ID Tags or stickers were gone.

This or these pages will i hope over time gather together some of these odd-ball saws.
The saw above in not positively identified but uses a J.A.P Engine and is owned by a Western Australian collector.
Another saw i seen go through Ebay Australia had both the fuel and oil tanks in it's tubular handle frame many years ago i did see one of these saws when i had my saw shop and from memory it was in a blue hammertone finish if you have or can help with more details on this saw could you pleae contact me Bob Cornwell I'm pretty sure after checking through Mike Acres Chainsaw collectors site the saw in question is a Danarm Ranger and used a Used Tecumseh KAH 52 engine.
