The cylinder i reasonably good just a decoke followed by a sand blast and a coat
of black paint looks as if the saw was shelved many years ago and i'm lucky the
exhaust port was closed by the piston but enough rust and excess carbon locked
her up but not anymore i'll reringing her and fitting new gaskets as the bottom
end is really good. |

Rings should be easy enough to source at 57mm x 2mm x 3of I believe Vespa scoota rings will do the job |

A new set of 57mm x 2 mm rings out of a Mac 7-55 or 99 should give the Hornet a new
lease on life. |
Just got another Magneto off ebay for spares i imagine the internals maybe the same
as the AM-1 inside |
